A week later . . .


It was back to work for Nicki after a lovely week well spent with her family & her man. Things got better & better by the day with her & SB & she loved it. Although, things weren't all crystal & perfect, they've had some small arguments but manage through them. The arguments didn't matter though. Nothing could stand in the way of true love. Nicki had just wrapped up her 2nd cover shoot with Elle magazine & it was really sexy & steamy, yet classy & elegant. Since the media had just found out about her not so surprising relationship with SB, everyone wanted to snag them up for an interview. Elle seemed to be the first too. After the photoshoot it was time for Elle to interview Nicki with tons of questions sent in by the fans & ofcourse questions on her new album..


Half way thru the interview, Nicki's mind went somewhere else. SB had just walked out of the closet in nothing but a pair of boxers. Nicki had never been so turned on by anyone else in her life. "It's an honor to be here."


Nicki & SB were now on their way out the door. Nicki had more in mind than just heading home though. Once they reached the elevator & got in, Nicki pressed the emergency button & the elevator stopped moving.

Safaree at this point was fuming mad, but remained cool so Nicki wouldn't notice. He was mad that Devon even had the audacity to hit up her phone, but what made it even more messed up was the fact that they've been having full on conversations for the past 2 days. How could you get back in contact with the guy who beat you up & mistreated you? Safaree was furious


"Who is it babe?


"Oh, it was Lauren. She said she's coming over in about an hour." he lied.


"Oh, that girl." Nic said sarcastically.


"So.... when were you gonna tell me that your secretly talking to Devon?" SB said. Nicki's mood went from happy to worried in a millisecond. 


"I...... ummmm..... what are you talking about?"
"Nicki don't play stupid with me."
"Why is it any of your business? I'm a grown ass woman & can do whatever the hell I want!!!" she said, getting a little to defensive.


"WAIT!!!! YOUR SAYING NONE OF THIS IS MYYYYY BUSINESS??? IT SURE WAS MY BUSINESS WHEN YOU'D CALL ME AFTER EVERY TIME HE'D BEAT YOU, OR DO YOU NOT REMEMBER THAT?" he screamed. SB couldn't believe Nicki just said it wasn't none of his business.


"First of all calm that shit the fuk down! Second, we're just talking as friends, aint nothing more than that!" SB knew she was lying, seeing as how he read their whole conversation from start to finish. He'd say how much he loved & missed her, she'd say the same in return.


"Nicki do you still love him?" SB said, in serious mode. The room got quiet.


"I guess I got my answer" SB said. He couldn't believe it. He got up & got his coat & walked right out the door. Nicki didn't even try & stop him, she just sat their & watched him leave like she didn't care.


Nicki began crying uncontrollably. What has she done?? The man she loved just walked out on her, she didn't know whether that was for good or not. She felt defeated.

"Man can you believe she got the nerve to get back in contact with that sucker." SB said, playing cards with his bestfriend Rex & some of the vaks.


"That's crazy yo..............." Rex said, he couldn't even think of anything besides that to say.


"She even had the nerve to tell me that it was none of my business, knowing damn well I'm the one who took care of her & nurtured her. I've been there!!" SB at this point just kept rambling on & on.


"How could you still love & miss someone  that constantly beat your ass basically every night coming home from work pissy drunk. You know he almost killed her one night right?" SB was so worked up now.


"Yeah.. but you gotta realize it from her point of view, she's been with this guy for like what..... 2 years & a half??? It's not that easy to let things like that go, no matter how hard the situation was. Nicki probably feels like all the good of that relationship outweighed the bad." Candi said, coming out from her room.


"Oh here we go...." Rex said.


"I figured you'd take her side Can" SB said.


"I'm not picking any sides here & I'm not saying Nicki is right either, I'm just being rational & thinking about it from her angle."


"Wait hold up..." SB said. He had been receiving calls from Nicki like every 5 seconds now, but he just pressed ignore on all of them & eventually turned his phone off.


SB just sat there & thought about things. He went in the room & cleared his head. Right now he just wanted to go home & talk about it with Nicki.  With that SB was now on his way home..

As SB pulled up to the house, he noticed a car speed off & heard lots of screams coming from it. He payed it no mind, figuring it was just some bad kids.


"Bad ass kids" he huffed.


He entered the house & noticed that it looked like a fight or something violent had gone on. He ran upstairs looking for Nicki, hoping she was okay.


"NICKI!!!!!!!!!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, only to get no answer.


He checked absolutely EVERYWHERE, EVERYSPOT in that house & couldn't find Nicki. He was pretty worried right now...


He walked into his bathroom & noticed the bathroom looked beat up too. He looked at the mirror & noticed it said "I warned you! She's mine now! Haha" It looked like it was written in blood.


SB now slid down to the floor & started crying. From seeing blood, he believed Nicki was now killed. 


"How could they do this to her?" SB said, while crying dramatically. He felt useless. He felt like all of this was his fault. Now he knows why Nicki kept calling him every 5 seconds. 


"Why  the fuck would I ignore her calls, SHE NEEDED ME." He felt like the biggest fucking douche in the world.  . . .


"HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!!!!!!!" he screamed. Kicking the walls!


"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" he screamed.
